Giant Killers Personal Study Guide

What early readers are saying about Giant Killers

“Dear Friend, I am so thankful you are reading Giant Killers!  I have learned that books are to be endorsed by the life of the author, not simply for engaging or "relevant" content. In talking about David's leadership, Psalm 78:72 says, ‘So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.’ The life of God from our lives comes from the integrity of our hearts, or the honesty we live from before God. I know Angi and her husband, Eric, in this way and have seen the integrity of their lives and trust the work of God that comes from this place. With confidence, I want you to know that your faith will be stirred to a needed place while reading Giant Killers. Allow God's Spirit to meet you as you read, exposing and going after places of fear and insecurity. Then step into obedience to His voice, living the life of faith God's Spirit calls you too.

“In her book, Giant-Killers, Angi Jeffcoat challenges us to address and defeat the giants we face with faith.  We all have them, and this book is filled with encouragement, insight, and steps to help us win the battle.  The giants accuse us, call us out, and paralyze us with fear keeping us from the life God has for us.  In this book you will get tools to address, overcome, and defeat your giant(s).  This is a book with an important message for all to hear and apply!  I recommend it for every believer as a necessary resource on your faith journey.”

We all struggle with inner battles. No matter how long you’ve walked with God, you are not exempt from the attacks of fear, anxiety, past trauma, shame, bitterness, and more. In fact, I find that top leaders sometimes struggle with insecurities more than anyone! Often, we have lived under the tyranny of these giants for so long that we do not recognize their presence. My prayer for you is that you would find victory over these giants and freedom from the pain they bring.

Let me be clear in this: facing your giants is never easy. In fact, it might feel like it gets worse before it gets better. You need to know that victory is possible for you. You can have peace once more. You can hold your head high and walk around without shame. What giant are you currently living with? It’s time to kick the giant out and stop letting it live rent-free in your life. Pick up your slingshot because we have work to do.

All my best,

Angi
